We like to work on an appointment basis. If your vehicle needs maintenance, we will be glad to make an appointment to have your vehicle checked or serviced while you wait. When you make an appointment, you can expect prompt service because your time, like ours, is very important.

Problems with your vehicle are never planned so when something unexpected happens you can also feel free to drop off your car at anytime and we will be happy to serve you on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to leave your vehicle after hours, we have a secure after hours box for you to drop your keys. Just leave us a note with your name, telephone number we can reach you during the day, and what you would like us to do for you.

Tom’s Transmission & Auto Service is a family owned and operated business that has has been serving the Santa Clarita Valley since 1978. Tom was the Founding President of the Santa Clarita branch of Automotive Service Council (ASC). ASC is a statewide organization made up of mostly general repair shops. We are a long-time member of ATRA (Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association).

Tom served on the local chapter and national board of directors of ATRA for more than 18 years. Tom has turned the business over to his son Brian while he is pursuing a teaching career at Pierce College in Woodland Hills. As the new owner, Brian continues to rebuild transmissions, but has also expanded the business to include general automotive repair and high performance vehicles (including drag racers, off-road racers and high performance corvettes). Brian is an ASE certified Master Tech and continues to attend classes to further his knowledge in auto repair and customer service. You can rest easy knowing that your vehicle is in capable hands.
